I Adore you

Hello,

This card I drew inspiration from a similar card made by Jennifer McGuire.
Have you seen her blog?  It is amazing and full of tips and tricks.  I am always impressed with the quality that Jennifer produces as well as the varied styles.

This card is made from Altenew stamp set called Adore you.
Here the stamps are organised close together, then stamped with Versamark ink and them embossed in white.
As the stamps are so incredibly detailed, there is little else to do, other than add little embellishments.

Today's card has a lot more words on it than I usually do, but that isn't a bad thing right?
I mean we are all supposed to communicate more? 
But that is usually is via text or in some social media way.

Sometimes the message just doesn't get through and this card is to let the person know how much you care.

Hello, 
Today's card has a real focus on the back ground, that (hopefully) gives a wavy/breezy look.
Something that you would expect when you were out sailing on the water.

Butterfly Birthday

Its not easy to see but the white dots are slightly raised, so gives an extra substance when you touch the butterfly.
This is for all the purple lovers out there, and I know there are a few of you.

This card I made for a little girl who is totally into pink. Everything has to be pink, clothes, shoes, toys, hair ties, lunch box, everything.

Mountain Cheers

Do yo have paper that you aren't quite sure of what to do with?
This card utilises patterned paper in an unusual way.  The card is dark purple and the 'mountains' are just a section of the patterned paper cut out.
Finished off with a silver stripe and a blue bottom and a cheerful 'Cheers' this card is ready to go and didn't take much to put together.

A very striking card.

If Life gives you Lemons......

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all have had a good start to the week.

Today's card is from the new stamp and punch bundle from Stampin Up called Lemon Zest.
The stamp set has some wonderful saying's to encourage you to get back up and try again.  And the punch has lemon and both leaves, so very versatile. I will be using this set quite a lot.

So, if life gives you lemons, chuck them right back !!

Masculine Birthday

Hello All,
I hope you are all having a great day.

Todays card is aimed at the male/boy/man in your life. I sometimes struggle with making cards that don't have sparkle or something pretty on it. The splodged splat and the embossed background give a contrasting textured look.
With the sentiment, I folded it at each end to give more of a pop up look.

Rose Wonder

Hello Everyone,
Today's card is from a stamp and matching die set from Stampin up called Rose Wonder.
I die cut the rose and the leave with two colors each, and then again in black. With the black I used it as the out line and filled in the two colors.  I alternated them to give a bit of interest.
It may take a while initially with all the die cutting, but then you end up with 2 cards! So its a bonus.
Making the card this way, gives the leaves and the rose a sort of 'stained glass' effect.

Hello, Its been a while

My 2017 New Years promise to myself was to be more active on this blog.
Well its now 21 July 2017 and I am going to act on my promise.
